Lakeland’s vests are made from patented GlenGuard® Hi-Vis\/FR protective fabrics. These patented static dissipative fabrics, 10A (solid) and 10AM (mesh), are each designed with a carbon core fiber. The carbon core fiber works to dissipate a potentially harmful static charge allowing safe work in potentially combustible environments. Industries where there is always notable concern for static build-up include the natural gas transmission, exploration, drilling and transportation industries, gas utility, industrial confined spaces, petrochemical plants and many others.
